Paltalk

A video group chat service that enables users to communicate by video, Internet chat, or voice.

The Problem

Paltalk, a video chat app available on both mobile and desktop, saw an influx of new users during the COVID-19 Pandemic, but had no way to connect their app users to their social and brand presence.

Paltalk had a limited budget to allocate to their social media presence and lacked direction & strategy without a dedicated Social Media Manager.

They also needed a Community Manager who could foster the relationship between all the new video chat users and the Paltalk brand.

The Solution

  • Created a Social Media Strategy that was centered around generating new user registrations and increasing brand awareness.

  • Elevated the Paltalk Social Media Content by organizing and creating content that resonated with users. 

  • Used CRM data to better understand how Paltalk’s social presence impacted the marketing and sales funnel.

  • Built the primary promotional strategy around engaging with customers—for example, curating user-generated content and responding to questions, comments and tags on social media.

  • Supported customer retention by reallocating efforts toward social media community management. Focused on delighting Paltalk's biggest fans to turn them into brand advocates, which in turn helped to attract new customers in an authentic and relatable way.

Influencer Management

Christina identified that Influencer Marketing would be a great way for Paltalk to collaborate with individuals who have an established following to help boost brand exposure, create content that resonated with followers and attract quality leads for new users.

Christina built the company's  Influencer Marketing program from the ground up driving efficiency across 3 key objectives: Brand Awareness, Sales Conversions, and Content Creation. Paltalk Influencers ended up increasing brand exposure by 73% and garnering over 10,000 new user registrations.
